Many fans will be delighted to hear that Jordan Weisman's new company Smith & Tinker has licensed the rights for the Battletech, Shadowrun, and Crimson Skies properties back from Microsoft. Here's a link to the press release.

I hope this means another Crimson Skies game for the Xbox 360; I loved the 1930s alternative history pulp/weird science feel to it. Plus, we had some great games of multi-player with Crimson Skies (I think it was our *first* multiplayer game on xbox actually).
Wow, those are some good memories, and that game did have such a cool setting. I seem to remember some crazy gameplay mode where one person was a chicken and all the other players chased them around?
Yes, the game did have some sort of chicken mechanic, though I'm fuzzy on the details. :)
On a related note, I "Aces High", a free campaign source book that someone wrote for running a Crimson Skies RPG using Savage Worlds rules. :)
